Speaking at Circular Economy plus × EXPO 2026

Anna Matsukura and Sari Hirano spoke at Circular Economy plus × EXPO 2026, hosted by the City of Yokohama, as members of the Yokohama Olive Project and the Agri Girls initiative.
Held in the lead-up to GREEN×EXPO 2027, the event brought industry, academia, government, and citizens together to share initiatives and practical examples addressing social issues through decarbonization, nature positivity, and the circular economy.
From the perspective of women in agriculture, our association presented ways to communicate the appeal of farming, engage with local communities, and connect primary industries with the public. We also introduced the use of local resources through the Yokohama Olive Project and efforts to make agriculture feel more familiar.
A workshop after the presentation offered an opportunity to exchange ideas with participants about realizing a circular society and to connect with people from many different backgrounds.
