Held a Screening and Talk Event for the Film ‘Mori wo Oru’
We held a screening, talk show, and clothing-sorting workshop for the documentary film “Mori wo Oru.”
“Mori wo Oru” is a documentary about Japanese silk textiles, portraying the cycles and satoyama way of life woven together by people, nature, and culture. After the screening, we also introduced the “Clothes to Farm” initiative, creating an opportunity to think together with participants about clothing circulation.
In conjunction with the event, we also held workshops in Kichijoji in July to make “clothing mulch” and “fabric-scrap balls,” connecting the program to practical activities for “Clothes to Farm,” a circular project that returns clothing to the soil.
