Planning and Appearing in the Grateful Day Sustainable Fashion Show

The Ethical Model Association co-hosted and appeared at Grateful Day, part of the Cleanup Hyogo Campaign held with Hyogo Prefecture and WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2025, presenting a sustainable fashion show at Kobe Meriken Park.
Using upcycled vintage garments and dresses made from garbage bags, the show expressed the theme of keeping clothing resources in circulation.
The runway included a performance in which models discarded clothing to portray a society of mass consumption and waste, followed by scenes of gathering discarded garments and reviving them with new value.
An Ethical Model dressed in garbage bags gradually transformed into a black dress, communicating two messages:
Waste is a resource for the future.
Beauty exists within circularity.
These messages were shared with the audience.
A screen behind the stage presented information on global clothing waste, exports of used clothing to developing countries, and recycling rates, encouraging audiences to view environmental issues as personal concerns through fashion.
